Delivering user-centred design in government Digital design & delivery

Digital transformation within government isn’t just about adopting the latest technology - it’s about creating an environment where technology can improve how government bodies operate and deliver services. By concentrating on user-centred design in government, smart procurement and the careful management of live services, we help teams move beyond outdated systems and avoid the pitfalls of short-term fixes.

Who we work with

We help government bodies use technology for innovation, efficiency and better outcomes for civil servants and the citizens they serve.

Defining Impact (1)

Bridging the digital divide within Government

While significant strides have been made in digital services for citizens, many internal government systems are stuck in the past. Large sections of the civil service still rely on outdated technology and processes, hindering efficiency and innovation. The Government's approach to technology has often been to commission it as a standalone solution, overlooking the critical role of the processes and culture surrounding it. Additionally, teams resort to short-term tech fixes in response to emerging economic and governmental difficulties, inadvertently increasing their technical debt and compounding future problems.

We recognise that digital transformation within government requires more than new technology. It’s about redesigning the systems, processes, and culture that interact with that technology to create an environment where digital solutions can thrive. Our method creates user-centred, empathetic and effective government digital services that meet the unique needs of teams.
