Ben Unsworth has joined TPXimpact as our latest Senior Partner - Major Projects, we are delighted to announce.
Ben joins us from Essex County Council where he was Director of Service Transformation, leading the service design, business design and organisation design teams, building and managing services to better meet the needs of the council and the people of Essex. He has held a range of senior leadership roles across central and local government, including Deputy Director for Data at the Home Office and Head of Digital at Buckinghamshire County Council.
Ben brings a unique skill set which spans design, transformation and solutions engineering. He’s used this expertise to implement open data programmes across Europe, build design-led digital teams in local government and lead in the development of open standards and open source technologies. This work aligns with his passion to develop the people, processes and ways of working we need in 21st-century public services.
As our new Senior Partner - Major Projects, Ben will be a go-to person for building strong relationships with our clients and ensuring smooth project delivery. He'll make sure teams feel valued and motivated, while also keeping a close eye on budgets and timelines, and encourage creativity and learning, inspiring everyone to work towards making a real impact for people, places and the planet.
Ben said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining TPXimpact at what feels like an important moment for public services. The organisation’s mission aligns with the things I care most about and I know I am joining a talented and passionate group of people.”
