Responding to change
The world has drastically changed. The needs of people, businesses and communities are evolving more rapidly than they ever have before. And over the last 18 months, we’ve seen people and organisations working at an unprecedented pace to respond.
The pandemic has been a wake up call to organisations across every sector; all of us thinking about how we deliver, how we operate and bring people together, the technology we use and how we sustain it all in a perpetually changing world. We’ve seen the benefits of collaboration in delivering interesting, impactful work. Our teams have been resilient and determined, despite the crises we’ve all faced.
We’re proud to have driven positive, sustainable change across many public service organisations which have in turn supported people in the UK in dire need of their services. As a team and with our clients, we’ve proven beyond doubt that autonomous, multidisciplinary teams working in an agile way can deliver incredible outcomes that solve big problems.
Through it all, we’ve continuously proved that the old ways of doing things, the old ways of consultancy and of digital transformation regardless of sector, are gone. For decades, and particularly highlighted through the pandemic, we’ve heard countless stories of big consultancies ripping off the sector. Millions of pounds spent every year on applications that never arrived, never worked or were the wrong idea. From the much-criticised NHS test-and-trace programme to a £3m, eight-week contract to build business cases ahead of the Spending Review ’21, the government spends an immense amount of money to receive minimal impact.
But I firmly believe in an alternative.
We’re setting a new ambition
Thirty-three months ago, we brought a small group of companies together around the belief that the huge systems integrators were no longer fit for purpose, that the smaller company ethos of small pieces loosely joined offered huge advantages and that profit and purpose could and should co-exist. Over the last few years, we’ve grown to include even more people at the cutting edge of delivering sustainable change across sectors, bringing new approaches, new technology and new methodologies to making change happen.
In that time, our purpose started to feel more like a movement: people coming together around a shared purpose and a shared ambition to create transformation that benefits the world.
Given all the things we’ve learned along the way, we recognise now that we have in front of us an incredible opportunity to organise ourselves in a new way to continue delivering even bigger impact.
Today, we’re proud to launch TPXimpact.
Under this new brand, we’re bringing together all the great skills, capabilities, knowledge, culture and decades of history to make an even bigger impact for clients and for people. Together, our vision is to deliver impactful, sustainable, digital transformation to enrich how individuals and society experience the world.
